We deliver tailored, trauma-informed education for children and young people who cannot access traditional school settings, recognised across Buckinghamshire for high-quality specialist provision.

Proud to be shortlisted for the Alternative Provision Provider Award at the 2026 National Tutoring Awards.
We are an approved supplier of alternative provision (AP) for Buckinghamshire Council. Our work supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), whether under a Section 19 referral or as part of an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We provide a structured, nurturing environment for academic, emotional, and social growth.

Our students come from a wide range of circumstances. We work with learners who need consistent, specialist support outside of a mainstream setting.
Our tutors are experienced in working with neurodiverse students and those with complex emotional or behavioural needs. We take a trauma-informed, student-centred approach, prioritising relationship-building, consistency, and emotional safety.
We work closely with parents, schools, and local authorities to ensure joined-up provision that complements each student's wider care and education plan.
Emotional safety and trust come first in every session.
Provision shaped around each learner's needs and pace.
Close partnership with families, schools, and councils.
We offer complete flexibility to meet the student's needs. Support can be delivered in-person at the student's home, online via our secure interactive classroom, or directly within school premises as part of a tailored provision plan.
Safety and quality are our top priorities. All staff undergo an Enhanced DBS check and follow rigorous Safer Recruitment protocols. Additionally, our tutors participate in continuous professional development focusing on SEND, SEMH, and trauma-informed teaching strategies.
Commissioning bodies can submit a referral enquiry directly by emailing us at tuition@quickthinkers.co.uk. Once we receive the student's requirements and EHCP (if applicable), we aim to match a specialist tutor and propose a learning plan within 1 week.
We ensure full transparency for all partners. We provide weekly attendance registers and half-termly academic and well-being progress reports. These are shared directly with the commissioning school or Local Authority to ensure compliance and monitor student outcomes.
Yes. We are specialists in supporting SEND learners, including those on Section 19 referrals or Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) packages. We work closely with Buckinghamshire Council and other South-East LAs to deliver the specific outcomes outlined in a student's EHC plan.
We provide high-quality tutoring across all core subjects (English, Maths, Science) from Key Stage 2 through to A-Level. We also offer specialist support for 11+ entrance exams, Functional Skills, and homeschooling.
Parents, schools, and local authorities are welcome to get in touch to discuss provision, referrals, or how we can support a young person in your care.
